Everything is in place for WWE to build towards marketing Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series on November 20. Even though there's another Raw pay-per-view (Hell In A Cell) to go before that event, the company are looking forward when it comes to Goldberg's return and Lesnar's next in-ring appearance.

On paper, Goldberg vs. Lesnar is classic box office and could feasibly headline the pay-per-view. In the mind of legendary announcer Jim Ross, that would be a mistake. Posting a blog entry on his official website, JR gave his view that WWE should endeavour to keep the rematch from WrestleMania XX away from the main event slot.

Elaborating, Ross said that he wouldn't book the match to go any longer than 15 minutes. With that duration, Goldberg and Lesnar would be able to keep things exciting without the pace dropping. Such a time period would also benefit Goldberg, who hasn't wrestled a match in years.

Many fans would likely expect WWE to position the bout as main event fare. If JR was in charge, it'd be a mid-card effort.
