The rise of James Ellsworth has been quite stunning. Looking like anything but the stereotypical 'WWE Superstar', Ellsworth has been able to capture imaginations with his everyman performances and plain appearance. Incredibly, the wrestler already has two victories over AJ Styles under his belt on SmackDown Live, something nobody could have predicted.

On the latest episode of the show, Dean Ambrose directed attention to the big screen. There, a new James Ellsworth t-shirt was shown as being for sale via WWEShop.com. Looking low-rent, the shirt has nonetheless apparently been a smash hit with fans.

Wrestling Inc are reporting that Ellsworth's shirt has been so successful that the merchandise item currently sits near the top of WWE's best-selling lists. Unbelievably, the jobber's t-shirt is outselling the likes of Bill Goldberg, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose himself in terms of units sold.

That truly is stunning and shows the power of the WWE marketing machine. Who ever thought they'd live in a world where enhancement talent could sell a ton of merchandise through WWE's official channels?
