When Ric Flair lost to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV, there were tears in the legend's eyes. He wasn't alone, because his family in the front row were crying too. Charlotte was there, and she recalled the emotion of the moment during a chat with Baby Huey and Bimbo Jimbo on 107.7 The Bone recently.

Admitting she didn't fully understand why her father was so torn about leaving the wrestling business behind full-time, Charlotte said she has only come to appreciate how difficult it was for Ric since becoming a wrestler herself. Now, she understands what it's like to live for the crowd's appreciation and that next match, but she couldn't possibly get it almost a decade ago.

Charlotte feels bad today for not appreciating her father's sadness at retiring. Ric would have more matches post-WrestleMania, but that loss to Michaels marked his final in-ring appearance for WWE and is still regarded the end of his career by the company.
