7. Torrie Wilson With The Dawn Marie/Al Saga

Torrie Wilson started a much talked-about feud with Dawn Marie on SmackDown! in 2002.

After Torrie won a bikini contest and lingerie contest over Dawn (ah, pre-Women’s Revolution), Dawn started to flirt back and forth with Torrie’s father Al Wilson. Torrie defeated Dawn at No Mercy in a match void of lusty stipulations. So in revenge Dawn got serious with Al and they became engaged much to Torrie’s dismay/distress.

The storyline took an even weirder turn after that, with Dawn stating that she’d call off the engagement if Torrie sexually spent the night with her, later showing parts of the footage at Armageddon without Torrie’s consent. Then in the beginning of 2003, Dawn married Al live on SmackDown!. A week after that, Al died from too much rigorous sex on their honeymoon. Thankfully, the story ended at Royal Rumble in the ‘Stepmother vs. Stepdaughter’ match that was less than four minutes long.

The whole angle was truly bizarre. For four months, Torrie was regularly slapped and attacked by Dawn, exposed to the world against her will, and helplessly watched her elderly father be tricked into a relationship, resulting in his death from too much sex. Oh, and she had to watch him cavort in his pants with her rival.
