10 Wrestling Gimmick Matches You Won't See Again

8. Thong Stink Face Match

Terri The Kat SummerSlam 2000

The Kat (aka Stacy Carter, aka Mrs Jerry Lawler) faced Terri Runnels in this match designed to denigrate the very concept of being a woman. It happened at Summerslam 2000 because the advent of the 21st Century did nothing to curtail our collective awfulness.

Firstly, both women wore thong bikinis. So far, so Attitude Era. Secondly, the match could only be won when one woman vigorously rubbed her posterior on the other's face. The 'stink face', as enthusiastically employed by Rikishi, had been employed by the Kat in her feud with Runnels - and so of course this was the only way their differences could be settled.

The match committed the unforgivable sin of being boring. It didn't even have the ambition to be hilariously bad. It was just tedious, with the only note of interest coming when the Kat exposed a proctological level of crevice when delivering the final buttock-mashing move to finish the match.

If WWE ever tries puts this match on again, the Suffragettes will rise from their graves to piledrive the lot of them.
