10 Wrestling Gimmicks Which Were Massive Ribs
2. VK Wallstreet
By sheer coincidence, Ted DiBiase's second flunkey, rogue taxman Mike 'I.R.S' Rotunda, briefly played the reciprocal ribbing role of his predecessor when returning to WCW in 1995.
Rotunda had earlier appeared for the company as economics wonk Michael Wallstreet alongside Alexandra York (Terri Runnels), collectively known as the York Foundation - essentially an early-'90s prototype for Titus Worldwide. He simply looked good in a neck-tie, and WWF agreed, suiting him up when he joined the company in 1992 for his stint as an Inland Revenue wrong 'un.
When Rotunda returned to Atlanta three years later, he took his business attire with him, ironically shooting on WWF's 'New Generation' (which he labelled the "few generation") whilst turning the clock back about half a decade. A few weeks later, Michael Wallstreet adopted the initials 'V.K.' - an obvious jab at Vincent Kennedy McMahon, that instead came across more like a tribute. This was a full six years before WWF floated on the NYSE - perhaps Rotunda gave the chairman the inspiration?
