10 Wrestling Matches That Ended In Unbelievable Locations

3. Steve Blackman And Shane McMahon With Crazy Dives (SummerSlam 2000)

It's another Hardcore Match. Shane McMahon was the heel Hardcore Champion while WWE was trying to build up Steve Blackman as a credible performer who is a legit tough guy. Blackman lacked charisma, but he had respect because of his physical style. It was easy to hate Shane when he was a heel due to his ability to get heat and he had guys helping him a lot. In this match he had Test & Albert there to attack Blackman for him. It looked like there was no way for Blackman to overcome the numbers game, but he was able to get a kendo stick and knock both of those guys down. The highlight of the match was the finish. McMahon tried to escape from Blackman, so he went to the entrance area. He climbed up a part of the SummerSlam set about 20-30 feet high. Jim Ross said it was 50 feet on commentary, but we know WWE likes to embellish things like that. Blackman nailed McMahon in the back with a kendo stick shot and down went Shane. It was a massive back first fall. Shane Mcmahon Summerslam 2000 Falls Gif There was some padding there to soften the blow, but the visual of a man falling that far is amazing. He wasn't alone, either. Blackman climbed down a bit, then decided to drop an elbow off the set and he got the pinfall win to regain the Hardcore Title. It wasn't a great match necessarily, but the finish was very memorable and it ended in a unique way that we will never forget.
