10 Wrestling Matches That Led To Massive Lawsuits

10. Cactus Jack Vs. Terry Funk

Terry Funk Cactus Jack
ECW

When: An ECW house show on 28 October 1995.

Three days before Halloween night in 1995, Mick Foley and Terry Funk were creating their own ghoulish dread by brawling like two men who legit hated one another. They didn't, of course, and were actually good friends, but nobody inside the old Viking Hall in Philadelphia would've known that when Mickles and Funker bust out a fiery steel chair.

ECW chaos, ladies and gents.

A fan later sued the company, claiming he'd been burned when attempting to "pat out" flames on the fuel-soaked towel that was wrapped around the chair. The suit was dropped, but it did remind everyone that ECW's wild behaviour threatened to get out of hand. That probs gave some fans a hard on for more in the '90s, to be fair.
