If WCW deserved a slap for firing Goldberg and DDP out there as cameras faded to black, then TNA management deserved a right hook for Victory Road 2011. Despite knowing Jeff Hardy was in no condition to perform, someone shoved him up some steps and through the curtain for a World Title match with Sting.

Oh. Dear.

Hardy's weird, intoxicated behaviour left Sting seething, and he was left with no choice but to steer some brief exchanges before forcibly pinning Jeff to the mat 90 seconds in. There's no doubt this match should never have happened; TNA had options. They could've sent out a last-minute replacement for Jeff, and they should've upon seeing the state he was in.

The absolute last thing that needed to happen was Hardy wobbling about and chaotically trying to wrestle a childhood hero when wasted. TNA, Eric Bischoff or someone had to wave the match off and think of a substitute quickly, but they didn't.
