The red light, the questionable conclusion to a freakin' Hell In A Cell match, the slow pace.

Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt were up against it at HIAC 2019, so much so that there's perhaps no better place to start than here. WWE booked themselves into a corner big time when they programmed the 'Fiend' (a new monster who needed to remain strong) against Rollins (a popular face champion they didn't want to beat quite yet) in October.

Fans in Sacramento took a California-sized crap all over the headliner, and rightfully so. Some in the building couldn't see a damn thing due to that aforementioned red torch blinding them. Others who could make out what was happening were left uninspired by the methodical, meandering speed Wyatt and Rollins were working at.

WWE should've known that fans would reject this sort of thing in 2019. It was a horror movie set piece that needed to be pre-taped at The Wyatt Compound, not the kind of thing that would work in front of an already-exhausted live crowd. It was sent out to die a death in front of the people.
