Spare a thought for the women who lived through an era more obsessed with boobs than Becky Lynch.

At WrestleMania X8, hometown gal Trish Stratus, Lita and relative newcomer Jazz toiled through six harrowing minutes in front of a Canadian crowd that couldn't give a toss beyond Trish's entrance. That wasn't their fault, and blame certainly didn't fall at the feet of the talent striving for attention. They were put in ye olde death spot.

This WWF Women's Title three-way was sandwiched between the two biggest matches on the card. Fans, who were still catching their breath after Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock tore the house down, knew they had Triple H vs. Chris Jericho to come. So, they sat on their hands, wandered around stretching their legs or nipped to the toilets as Jazz retained her belt.

Homecoming queen and the promise of some maple leaf booty shorts or not, fans could not have cared less about the match proper when it got started. This might've been a better spot for the earlier four-way Tag Title match few cared about either.
