9. Mark Henry Vs. Nobody!
When: WWE SmackDown (3 June 2011)
What Happened: Mark Henry wrecked the place because he was steaming mad.
The 'World's Strongest Man' was told to hit the ring for a post-show dark match vs. Sin Cara following the 3 June 2011 episode of SmackDown. Mark didn't know what was actually going on though. Vince McMahon was ribbing him. There was no match vs. Cara, and the masked man was never coming through that curtain.
Henry told Steve Austin's 'Broken Skull Sessions' that he was furious about this prank. He figured McMahon must not respect him if he was pulling this sort of nonsense approx 15 years into his career. Ticked off, Mark destroyed some equipment around ringside then marched backstage to confront his boss.
Vince had already left, which only angered Henry further. Later, McMahon calmed Mark down and showed him footage of the incident. Then, the pair came up with Henry's 'Hall Of Pain' run and decided to turn real-life anger into an on screen character.
