Event: WWE WrestleMania XXVII

Why Fans Hated It: This entry could be summed up as thus: Michael Cole agrees with you for hating on his own WrestleMania moment. The longtime WWE announcer has told countless interviewers over the years that he and Jerry Lawler had no business gobbling up at least 20 minutes of time on the biggest card of 2011.

What the hell was Vinnie Mac thinking, man?!

Seeing Cole dress up like some Team Angle knockoff and go 13 minutes at 'Mania with Lawler was quite the fever dream. Again, much like he had been for Lesnar vs. Goldberg seven years before, Steve Austin was called upon to try and add some fan interest by showing up as ref.

Forget the reverse decision that saw Cole actually go 1-0 at Wrestle-f*cking-Mania for a second - there was something else more painful about all of this. This, of course, being that every fan and his/her dog knew they were in for quite the suck-fest before ordering the show.
