10 Wrestling Matches You Won't Believe Happened In 2017

8. The Hardy Boyz Vs. The Young Bucks

It's still hard to believe that The Hardy Boyz faced The Young Bucks in a ladder match on April 1, and then popped up at WrestleMania to fight another one the following night on April 2.

Even the punishing WWE schedule, at its most jam-packed, has probably never forced anyone to compete in two ladder matches in the space of 24 hours. When these guys finally decide to hang up their boots, nobody can say that they didn't earn a well-earned break.

But while most of us were busy getting excited about their long-awaited return to the mainstream, for Ring of Honor fans, the prospect of seeing Matt and Jeff lock horns with The Young Bucks - to many, their spiritual successors - was a genuinely mouth-watering one.

There was no guarantee that it would ever happen either. The duo left TNA in February following a purported contractual dispute, after which it seemed inevitable that they would go straight back to Vince McMahon's empire. This pit-stop wasn't necessarily on the cards - but it couldn't have been more welcome.
