2. Rob Van Dam & Sabu Vs. The Hardy Boyz (WrestleCon, March 28)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JktCyvN7LC0 For fans of late 1990s wrestling, extreme, high-flying action was part of what made the sport so great. While The Hardy Boyz became the standard bearers of that style in WWF, thrilling fans with leaps, dives, and ladder-based offense, they drew comparisons to a team that had been on the national stage just a little bit longer - two-time ECW World Tag Team Champions Sabu and Rob Van Dam. Both tandems were trailblazers in their respective organizations, earning their reputations as some of the world's most exciting wrestlers. Though both teams clashed in 1998 match before The Hardys broke out as superstars (on an indie show that took place in a bar), a dream match between the two established duos never happened... until this year. As part of the festivities of WrestleMania weekend, WrestleCon hosted a Supershow in San Jose pitting two of the most extreme teams of the Attitude Era against one another. In the wild main event, Sabu and Rob Van Dam came out on top when RVD pinned Jeff Hardy.
