1. Terry Funk Versus Jerry Lawler (October 24)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFAMdwRoEWM Jerry Lawler suffered a heart attack during a live broadcast of Raw in 2012. Since that time, WWE hasn't used him in any matches - but they haven't been able to stop him from competing on his own. Lawler, who turned 66 in November, has continued to have bouts on the independent scene with a variety of opponents, and when Lance Russell was honored with a tribute show in Memphis this past October, there was only one rival who would do - the 71-year-old Terry Funk. Needless to say, it wasn't a simple catch-as-catch can contest. Funk was disqualified for shoving a referee, and after that, Lawler threw a fireball in the Hardcore Legend's face. The scene made news on wrestling and entertainment websites, reminding fans just how tough these old lunatics are. The next day, as one analyst pointed out, Lawler flew to Los Angeles and called the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. The match was billed as "The Last Stand," but come on, who believes that?
