10 Wrestling Moments Made Better With Hulk Hogan Erased

9. Brutus Beefcake Is Joined By (Insert Name Here) To Fend Off Money Inc.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c7g6-8Mm5A The idea that Hulk Hogan returned after the Zahorian steroid scandal to team with his good friend Brutus Beefcake and be managed by another good friend in Jimmy Hart is cronyism at its finest. Let's be honest and say that Ted Dibiase and Mike Rotunda deserved better than to be crash test dummies for this trio, and that this is a moment where Hogan didn't need to be involved. Hulk Hogan was a liability in 1993. He'd lied about his steroid use, and putting him into the ring placated a very small fanbase, but to the world at large, this definitely didn't look like a genius move. What about having Beefcake get manhandled and left laying by Money Inc., then promise at Wrestlemania to have a "surprise partner?" At Wrestlemania IX, the idea of having then announcer Randy Savage come down from commentary and rip off his "Macho Toga" to reveal wrestling gear to wrestle Money Inc. would've been so much fun, and a way of sending the crowd home happy that ABSOLUTELY didn't need to involve Hulk Hogan.
