10 Wrestling Moments That Broke The Internet

9. Sunny Is 1996's Most Downloaded Woman

Perhaps WWE's first bonafide internet star, Sunny's looks and charisma earned her many fans. Had she been around these days, it's likely that she'd have attracted the same level of social media devotion as divas such as AJ Lee, Paige and Sasha Banks. Her bikini issue of RAW Magazine broke sales records at the time, and she left her imprint on the early internet age too. In 1996, Sunny won the accolade of AOL's Most Downloaded Woman of the Year - despite having only been in WWF for less than two years. This relatively short space of time shows just how close the relationship between pro wrestling and the internet was, even at this early stage of the latter's existence. Of course, the internet's infatuation with her didn't get left behind in the 90s. Sunny's infamous Skype shows are still advertised on her official Twitter account, and presumably attract a rather passionate audience.
