7. Nexus Made Their Mark 5 Years Ago

It's strange to think that it was a whole 5 years ago that Nexus made their debut on a 2010 edition of Monday Night Raw, attacking John Cena and destroying everything and everyone in their way.

At that point in time, Nexus went on a dominant run, taking out huge names like Cena, The Undertaker, Big Show and Randy Orton. The rookies of NXT's first season - Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Darren Young, Skip Sheffield, David Otunga and Michael Tarver - certainly made an impression on the main roster. Whilst their stock was high for a short time, the faction started to lose momentum once Wade Barrett failed to win the WWE Championship from Super Cena; a baffling decision and one you could argue Barrett has never fully recovered from.

A lot has happened in those 5 years and the members of the original Nexus group have certainly had mixed paths; Barrett has had several Intercontinental Championship reigns and is the current King of the Ring; Bryan was fired, rehired, and has won several World Titles and headlined Wrestlemania; Slater's One Man Band currently struggles to get on the card; D-Young is one half of the Tag Team Champs; Yip-Yip Skip is current IC Champ Ryback; Otunga is doing pre-shows; and Gabriel and Tarver are no longer with the company.
