10 Wrestling Moves So Awesome They're Actually Unbelievable
8. Van Terminator
Rob Van Dam had already used his hybrid gymnastic style to rattle the brains of his opponents as much as the minds of the punters before he sailed from one end of the ring to the other and hit his opponent in the face with a steel chair.
The Van-Daminator was the sort of finisher that defined ECW as much as it did the man himself. A move that simply couldn't exist in WWE or WCW with their milquetoast rules and regulations, the record-breaking Television Champion's chair-assisted move was such a big hit that he elected to improve upon it.
With Bill Alfonso holding the chair in his opponent's face, Van Dam was free to springboard with all his force. The prop bin in the years that followed (for RVD and Shane McMahon's version) was safer, if a little less mind-blowing.
