10 Wrestling Returns That Would Improve WWE TV

1. Shawn Michaels

So, for that matter, would one Shawn Michaels.

As soon as HBK told Sky Sports he'd be willing to talk turkey on a WWE in-ring return, we'd like to think that Triple H was bombarding him with missed calls and voicemails aplenty. Michaels, akin to Steve Austin, is the kind of legend people would love to see have "one more match".

Whilst Austin has made it clear he's not interested, Shawn is, and that should be enough to get older fans excited. Younger viewers should be too, because they'd get to see a master at work. Sure, Michaels wouldn't be the same "Mr. WrestleMania" of yesteryear, and he wouldn't zip around the ring bumping for all comers, but he's a mastermind of psychology in the ring.

Even if HBK was two steps slower than his last appearance at 'Mania XXVI against The Undertaker, he'd have the smarts to work wonders with AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Bálor, Kevin Owens or Shinsuke Nakamura.

Hell, stick him in a tag-team match as DX with Triple H and we'd still watch.
