2. Hulk Hogan & The Ultimate Warrior

It'd be easier to compile a list of Ultimate Warrior opponents and collaborators who didn't have heat with the departed Jim Hellwig than one of those who did. Notoriously hard to work with, the erratic megastar contrived to get himself fired from WWE on two separate occasions, preventing him from becoming the Hulk Hogan heir he was intended to become by felling Vince McMahon's top guy in WrestleMania VI's 'Ultimate Challenge.'

Signed to WCW on a bumper contract in 1998, Warrior was re-positioned opposite Hogan as part of a feud with the New World Order. Unfortunately, things went awry in his very first segment. Warrior's debut promo inexplicably went 20 minutes over the allotted runtime. This seemingly led to Hogan questioning why his former WWF rival had been brought in for such a high-profile role after an extended period out of wrestling, doing so long before their notorious disaster of a match at Halloween Havoc 1998, considered one of the worst of all time.

Their resentment lingered. In 2011, Warrior said that one day, somebody was going to paint a picture of who Hogan really was, responding to Hulk's claims that "Ultimate Warrior was given a bullet to kill Hulkamania." Then, when Warrior passed away in 2014, his widow Dana refuted Hogan's claims that 'The Hulkster' tried to mend fences with her late husband prior to his death.
