10 Wrestling Spots Nobody Does Anymore

10. The Good Old Arm Wringer

As a kid, this guy could almost feel his own arm sting with pain whenever one wrestler would twist another's limb until it nearly popped off. The humble 'Arm Wringer' was one of the biz's best rest spots, and it was super-effective as a tool babyfaces could use to avenge heel cheating.

More on that later.

Workers do hold a peer's arm now, but that usually leads to some sort of springboard work on the ropes. It rarely, if ever, exists so someone can twist, pull, twist again, pull, twist again and then finally be fought off so the victim can seek respite. That's a shame considering the move's simplicity.

Seeing a guy like Randy Savage repeatedly contort Ted DiBiase's arm until it was nearly knotted was a humble joy from a bygone era. It'd be nice to see someone bring this one back again to help fans breathe between speedy spots.
