10 Wrestling Storylines That Killed A Character

Chikara is one of the wackiest and intentionally slapstick promotions going today. More PG than WWE, they feature child-friendly characters and silly scenarios, which makes for extremely fun viewing. Except for the time they killed off several characters during an invasion angle.

The gist of it is that a group of heel stables had banded together to form a mega heel stable known as The Flood, who existed to destroy Chikara. They were led by the monstrous masked man Deucalion who used a devastating Chokebreaker finisher that paralysed and possibly killed wrestlers. 

There were many casualties during this two year story, but the most devastating was the death of Dragon Dragon.

Dragon Dragon was used very rarely given that the costume offered limited mobility, but the character was a hit and always provoked a great reaction. That was until 2013 where he was beheaded (literally) by Oleg the Usurper, a medieval Viking warrior. I won't spoil how they pulled off this effect, it really has to be seen above to be appreciated.
