10 Wrestling Talents That Were Immediately Buried By WWE

1. Colt Cabana

Former Ring of Honor wrestlers have a pretty good track record in WWE. Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) and CM Punk have won the WWE Championship, and it looks like Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) is next in line for the big belt. Guys like Sami Zayn (El Generico), Kevin Owens (Kevin Steen), and Hideo Itami (KENTA) are tearing things up in NXT and are in line for a call up to the main roster. But one former ROH star, who had a gimmick that was tailor-made for the WWE, was Colt Cabana. He had a comedy gimmick, but could still wrestle. When he was called up to the WWE in 2007, it was a no brainer that he€™d be a big star. However, the WWE cast him as Scotty Goldman, and never had him win a single match. He was released later in the year, and how Colt was treated in WWE has left Colt with a bitter taste in his mouth ever since, and who can blame him? Follow me on Twitter @PocketSeagull.
