10 Wrestling Talents That Were Immediately Buried By WWE

6. Shane Douglas

Shane Douglas is a punchline these days because of how bitter he is toward Vince McMahon and Ric Flair for how he was treated in the WWF and WCW respectively, but Douglas is an above-average in-ring talent, and probably should have had a better run in the WWF than he was given in 1995. Douglas was packaged as Dean Douglas, a college professor who would run his nails against the chalkboard and give out grades to the babyfaces, which were usually Fs. Douglas was getting a pretty decent push, but he ran into the backstage politics of the Kliq. Rather than being given a run with the Intercontinental Title when Shawn Michaels was forced to forfeit in October, he immediately dropped the belt to fellow Kliq member Razor Ramon, and two months later, Douglas was done with the company.
