As evidenced by his plethora of shoot interviews over the last few years, as well as the fact he now has his own podcast, it should come as no surprise that Jim Cornette likes to voice his opinion. The outspoken manager has a 1980s approach to professional wrestling, which hasn't endeared him to the new generation of wrestlers or fans. One current act whom Corny has had a few run-ins with is The Young Bucks, who wrestle predominantly for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Ring of Honor, where they worked with Cornette (they also used to work with Cornette in TNA as Generation Me). The feud started in January 2015 after Cornette had torn apart the Bucks' match at the January 4th NJPW Wrestle Kingdom show. In response Nick Jackson tweeted on January 8th 'I miss when Jim Cornette was booking ROH - nobody'. The two camps have been at odds ever since. Cornette responded to that tweet by posting 'I remember when the Young Bucks sold out the arena in...err...uhh..'. Since that time The Bucks have made accusations that Cornette held down/buried guys like Colt Cabana, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn when they wrestled for ROH. The Bucks then blocked Jim Cornette although the feud resurfaced in May 2015 when the two had a brief back-and-forth and Cornette challenged the tag team to a live debate. Nobody has really won this feud. The highspot-loving Bucks continue to be inundated with offers to wrestle all over America and internationally (and recently turned down a WWE tryout camp) and Jim Cornette still gets paid to complain about the state of modern wrestling.
