10 WWE & AEW Wrestlers Hurt The Most By The Empty Arena Era

8. Orange Cassidy

The three-way match between Orange Cassidy, PAC and Kenny Omega at Double Or Nothing showed how much difference a crowd makes for Cassidy. The pops, the near falls and just the roar of the crowd whenever Cassidy got in any form of offence were euphoric.

While Cassidy hasn't had a terrible run during the Empty Arena Era, it would have been so much greater with a full live crowd. The main example of this is his feud with Chris Jericho. The feud was well done and managed to put over Cassidy, however, just think of some of those spots being done in front of a full arena.

Seeing the Mimosa Mayhem match in front of a sold-out crowd would have been incredible, especially the finish. Even the debate with Eric Bischoff would have been electric. Cassidy is a performer who thrives on crowd reaction, and to have that stripped away really hurt his character for a stretch in 2020.
