10 WWE Angles Ripped Straight From The Movies

6. Alexa Bliss Bullies Nia Jax (Mean Girls)

There's evidence to suggest that 2004's Mean Girls provided the blueprint for most Diva division angles in WWE for years. Before characters like 'The Man' Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler came along, WWE seemed to believe no woman could converse with another without reverting to bitchy insults or bullying behaviour.

Kinda' like Lindsay Lohan and the cast of Mean Girls.

In 2018, Alexa Bliss and Mickie James became WWE's very own Regina George and Gretchen Wieners when they targeted Nia Jax. The pair acted like high school preppies who put appearance and material wealth before anything else, and thought it was perfectly fine to body-shame Nia because she didn't look like them.

Eventually, Jax rose up to shut the pair down and became a short-lived inspirational babyface. So, naturally WWE turned her into the dominating bully again months later when they needed someone quick to feud with Ronda Rousey.

Makes sense.
