10 WWE Angles Wrestlers Wish They’d Turned Down

6. Becky Lynch Is Still ‘The Man’

WrestleMania 36 was weird. There's no getting away from that - WWE's "Big Ass Fans" purred in the background as everyone busted tail to convince fans this was still the biggest pay-per-view of the year inside the humble confines of the Performance Center. Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler were amongst those trying their best.

Bex was already a bit frustrated going in.

She'd pitched a loss to up-and-coming NXT mauler Baszler before 'Mania. WWE, for some reason, were having none of that sh*t. In fact, Vince McMahon's grand plan was to debut Shayna as a quasi-vampire and then have the blood-sucking heel do the honours for Lynch inside the PC.

Becky's willingness to lose says a lot for her. She'd had her time on top, and knew that using her star power to launch a fresh heel onto the "main roster" would be best for business. Sadly, WWE said no. 'The Man' wishes she'd said exactly the same back and tried to get what she wanted.
