10 WWE Announcements That Fell Flat
9. Snooki At WrestleMania 27
Celebrities have been part of the WrestleMania furniture since Mr T helped Hulk Hogan overcome Roddy Piper and Paul Orndoff at Madison Square Garden in the very first event back in 1985.
Since then, though, the use of non-wrestling personnel on the Grandest Stage of Them All has been very much hit and miss.
Few could argue that Mike Tyson's turn as the guest enforcer of WrestleMania 14's main event didn't enhance the occasion, whilst the bout shared between Floyd Mayweather and Big Show 10 years later was actually pretty solid, all things considered.
But when fans were told that reality star Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki, would be competing at WrestleMania 27, alongside John Morrison and Trish Stratus, against Dolph Ziggler, Layla and Michelle McCool, it's fair to say they were not amused.
