10 WWE Announcements That Fell Flat

There have been so many dismissals that have fallen flat over the years that it's difficult to pick out any one in particular.

The first time Vince McMahon bellowed the words "You're fired" into the face of one of his long-suffering employees, in a manner we imagine Sir Alex Ferguson delivered his half-time team talks, it stirred a considerable reaction from the stands.

But by the 400th time, it began to lose some of its impact. WWE wrestlers are fired and then re-hired with such frequency that it's hard to get excited about one of them receiving their marching orders.

Most of the time they're back on TV within a matter of weeks, and even when Vince himself was sent packing by Triple H a few years ago the audience (if not the live crowd) were pretty unmoved.
