10 WWE Attitude Era Moments That Sucked

10. The Artist Formerly Known As Goldust

After two years of basically getting the Attitude Era started with his controversial, androgynous ways, Goldust would become even weirder, something that nobody thought was even possible if they had been watching the character from the beginning. He would begin dressing up as other WWF men and women, or go with outlandish color combinations for his attire and wigs like neon green and pink. That's not to mention the nipple clamps, leashes, spiked dog collars, and other S&M paraphernalia that he would wear, being led around to and from the ring by his new manager, Luna Vachon, another "weird one" in her own right. Booking of the character changed from focusing on a mix of his in-ring work and his extravagant ways to focusing solely on how "weird" he was, and people stopped caring. Luckily, this only lasted a few months before he began wrestling simply as Dustin Runnels, playing a born-again Christian who was opposed to the way the WWF put on its television product, before going back to the Goldust character a few months after that.
