Current United States Champion Sheamus has nothing much to do. Despite winning the belt, there has not been really any real reason for concern regarding it. Has barely defended it, he spends more time in tag-team matches and, more often than not, Sheamus wins matches just for the sake of winning. In fact, there are some fans that dislike Sheamus for similar reasons that they dislike John Cena: Sheamus wins so much and often its for no reason. For this storyline, Sheamus needs to feel concerned. The fact that there is a tournament with 16 wrestlers vying for his title would not only give him something to do, but would actually make his title be worth more. Sheamus could be on commentary during the tournament, and his role would be to appear and sound concerned about his potential opponents. His role would be to make whoever wins matches seem like a credible threat, making the eventual Survivor Series match that much more interesting. This means fewer jokes about drinking a pint or calling people Fella in a sarcastic tone. People wouldnt take his opponents seriously if he constantly mocked them just to get a few laughs in. But in this case, as Sheamus watches (and sometimes commentates on) the tournament, he would have to at least make the crowd think that his opponent at Survivor Series will be a big deal. Meanwhile, Sheamus could team with Dolph Ziggler as the two champions taking on all comers. As I mentioned earlier, Dolph needs to be booked as a strong champion more than Sheamus because, well, hes Sheamus. For example, there could be a tag team match featuring Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus versus Wade Barrett and the Miz, while the tournament continues. In this match, Sheamus would be the one to lose because he can handle taking a loss more than Ziggler can. But as for the tournament itself, well
