WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, famously known in WWE as Diesel, was first WWE World Heavyweight Champion from 1995-1996.

During his title reign, and after he lost the title to Bret Hart, Kevin Nash's WWE contract was very much in a state of flux, and he would eventually leave the company to take a bigger and better contract offer from Eric Bischoff and WCW.

During an episode of WWE Network's Legends with JBL, Kevin Nash revealed that his WWE Title reign was not the great experience it appeared to be on television.

"I went to the Royal Rumble in Providence and threw 11 guys out in a row and they chanted ‘Diesel’ for the first time," said Nash. "And then, they go with you, and as soon as you’re anointed and they know that you’re the office’s choice, all bets are off because now you’re getting a push."

Nash went on to discuss the rigors of chasing the WWE Title, and the difference between chasing gold and actually carrying gold. Much like similar stars of the past, Nash admitted the pressures of being Champion can be far greater, and far worse, than the pressures of fighting to become Champion.
