Whenever the WWE manages to line up a celebrity appearance on Raw (regardless if they're on the A or D-List), they milk it for all its worth. To be fair, you can't really blame them as it gives their programming the kind of mainstream attention and recognition they want. The problem here is how they end up handling their interactions with WWE Superstars. There's a reason that this feature and the WWE themselves call their performers "Superstars"; it's because they're supposed to be the very best there is at what they do. Having a random celebrity come in and BEAT THEM UP makes them look like total fools however and is very damaging. After all, if Snooki can beat a four time Divas Champion at WrestleMania cleanly, can't anyone? Flo Rida has man handled Heath Slater on a number of occasions now. Sure, he's no Brock Lesnar, but getting into the WWE means you're tougher than that guy who sung that catchy tune about whistling, right? Wrong. Whenever a celebrity rolls into town, Vince McMahon suddenly has no problem emasculating his talent. It's great fun for the celebrities of course, but how about the wrestlers who have to turn up to perform the next week and every one after it? Well, it definitely does them no favours!
