10 WWE Decisions That Were Great For About A Minute

7. Baron Corbin: Money In The Bank Winner

Yes, everyone would have loved for literally anyone but Baron Corbin to win the 2017 Money In The Bank Ladder Match, yet you cannot dispute the fact that heel briefcase holders always fit the opportunistic persona better than a smiley babyface.

That's why - when Corbin did go on to win the match - the penny dropped for a large section of the WWE Universe, as they realised that this could be the perfect chance for The Lone Wolf to turn himself into the main event guy the company so desperately wanted him to be.

All that potential evaporated when Corbin began p*ssing people off backstage with his entitled attitude, stupid social media game and stuttering promo work. He would then go on to lose a meaningless feud with Shinsuke Nakamura and followed that up by getting his ass kicked by John Cena - who inadvertantly cost Corbin his attempted cash-in.

MITB star to hapless Cena fodder, in just over two months. Yet, all this could have been avoided had Corbin been able to raise his game and prove he was the man for the job, sooner.

Here's hoping for a better late-2019 run for the new King.
