A buffoonish conspiracy theorist sniffing around Roman Reigns’ super-serious family faction had all the makings of a creative nightmare last year. It was supposed to be a one-off too, but everyone from Sami Zayn to Roman, Paul Heyman and The Usos showed enough chemistry that WWE kept it going, and going, and going...

...and going.

Let's be real about something for a second. There's no conceivable way Sami Zayn headlines 'Mania 39 without his Bloodline involvement. He was largely a comedy character before linking up with the group and making the most of every segment he was involved in; that led to "Honorary Uce" status, and endless entertainment for fans.

It also led to an unlikely main event run for Sami, and he's still riding high as Undisputed Tag-Team Champs alongside good pal Kevin Owens. Zayn's comedic conspiracy theorist character invading The Bloodline could've been crap, but it created pure pro wrestling gold nobody will ever forget.
