10 WWE Divas Who Benefited From Dating A Wrestler

10. Michelle McCool

It became a fad amongst the IWC to hate on Michelle McCool in 2009 and 2010, when the news broke that she'd hooked up with The Undertaker and seemingly received a massive push and as much screen-time every week as a lot of the upper card guys, in Lay-Cool, WWE's version of TNA's Beautiful People. McCool had a long series of runs with the Women's and Divas' titles and was booked strongly as a dominant in-ring heel. As relieving as it was to hate on McCool for being shoved down our throats every week, the objective truth is that her push was based upon her in-ring merit and was on the cards before her and Undertaker became a big issue. McCool's victory at the 2008 Great American Bash over Natalya, making her the inaugural Divas Champion is prove of this fact. Whilst her romance with the Deadman definitely seemed to send McCool's status into overdrive, her hard work and drive to improve was probably what earned her 'Taker's respect to begin with.
