10 WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Impulse Reactions

5. The Deadman Cometh

The Undertaker Elimination Chamber
WWE

Hard not to pop big for the brilliant deployment of The Undertaker as The OC beat the sh*t out of Aleister Black, even though they were entirely permitted to do so under the rules the babyface had requested. Luckily, he had 'The Deadman's dong there when he needed it most.

Taking out AJ Styles with yet another chokeslam, 'Taker disappeared in the darkness to free up Styles to eat the Black Mass and give the former NXT Champion a big pay-per-view victory.

The long term success of this short term spot will be entirely determined by what's on the docket for Black at WrestleMania. If this win was only to facilitate the inevitable Styles/Undertaker dream match, was it even a win? If it's actually moved him up some imaginary rankings and into contention for...something at the 'Show Of Shows', then credit to WWE for achieving so much from the briefest of appearances from the company legend.

It all went down really well live too. The power of that enthusiasm shouldn't be understated, particularly on a card that had already delivered several sizable moments.
