10 WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Impulse Reactions

4. The Street Profits Vs Seth Rollins & Murphy

There was quite a nice character moment from Murphy as the Raw Tag Team Title match crawled along at that very pronounced WWE pace.

The former Cruiserweight Champion, unclear on quite how to put the new Raw Champions away, looked to his messianic partner and asked what he should do. Rollins, false prophet that he is, didn't really have an answer. Instead, they exchanged a couple of tags and hit a couple of big moves for a near fall or two with the chapter eventually ending in a Tower Of Doom spot that did the most damage to Murphy himself. This was cute. Like a puppy at Christmas though, it was fatalistically wrapped.

The match was produced to the detriment of the performers. Street Profits weren't exciting. The heels weren't overtly heelish. The Viking Raiders paired off with The Authors Of Pain and Kevin Owens provided the distraction for the finish. You know all this, we all know all this - the oldest gimmick here was Owens' babyface Austin-lite bit and he's only been doing that since the summer.

Dull dull dull and the headline was there's going to be loads more to come at WrestleMania. Burn it down, man. All of it.
