10 WWE Employees Triple H Should Be Pissed At Right Now
10. Vince McMahon
If I'm Triple H, I'm mad at my father-in-law for not being more proactive in aiding my cause as the Chief Operating Officer. Yes, Sting and The Undertaker are in for Wrestlemania. However, the company's still likely losing money hand-over-fist, and there's Vince answering the hard questions on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's podcast. While, yes, the Chairman answering questions is better than the COO answering queries, Triple H is still looking at a company that when he finally gets his hands on it completely is going to have a roster filled with very exciting talent from NXT, but so light in the pockets that those talents from NXT are going to be the only ones that the company will comfortably be able to afford to pay. This may not be the time for frank talk, it's the time for decisive action. The Network is an awesome purchase at the price point of $9.99, but the level of financial constraint that it's putting WWE under is becoming readily obvious. As Chief Operating Officer, here's Triple H likely looking at Vince for answers, but Vince likely doesn't have many to give. I'm sure that this "New Generation" redux we're looking at is partially Vince's idea (as he did it before in 1993), but the flux of smaller indie guys that's about to hit WWE TV I'm sure scares "big man" fan McMahon a bit, and if it fails, HHH could easily get tossed under the bus as Vince could easily once again take iron fist control of WWE and we're likely to see Baron Corbin hitting John Cena with his finisher by Wrestlemania 32. So if I'm Triple H am I pissed at Vince McMahon? Absolutely. Hunter may not be getting a fair chance to succeed here.
