10 WWE Entrance Themes That Were Originally For Someone Else

1. Bobby Roode's 'Glorious' (Shinsuke Nakamura)

By far the most recent example available for this list to examine, the notion that Bobby Roode's quite brilliant 'Glorious' theme was written for Shinsuke Nakamura is also fascinating.

Only reported by The Wrestling Observer recently, this curious little fact claims that Nakamura was less-than-impressed by the song upon first hearing it. Not digging the vibe of the song at all, the Japanese sensation didn't believe 'Glorious' fit his character at all.

That's alright, because it definitely fit the NXT incarnation of Bobby Roode.

There's obviously no footage of Nakamura using the theme, because he turned it down before debuting in WWE. Things could have been extremely different had the former New Japan man agreed to use the music created for him, instead of taking a fully hands on approach that led to 'The Rising Sun' track he eventually settled on.
