Music is vital to the success of any WWE character, and that trend has been true since the mid-1980s when 'rock 'n' wrestling' were first brought together on a grand scale; by the time the 1990s rolled around, virtually everyone on the roster had some sort of theme that was instantly recognisable, helping their act to get over with fans immeasurably.

So it's incredible to think that some of the most well-received themes in history weren't written for those who eventually made them famous.

Recycling is a huge part of WWE's product (for an in-ring example, just research the history of the recent 'ringsplosion' used by Braun Strowman and The Big Show), and music is no different. Due to an ever-changing audience, WWE have been able to rehash entrance themes used for one wrestler and use them for another years later.

Sometimes, the wait isn't quite as long as that. There are some themes that have been shifted so quickly that they weren't even used by the wrestler they were originally intended for at all...
