10 WWE Factions That Went From Awful To Awesome

2. Nation Of Domination

The Nation of Domination is remembered most for its run during the Attitude Era. That Nation was far different than the odd group that comprised the original Nation that formed during the end of WWE’s New Generation period.

The original Nation of Domination was Farooq, Crush, Savio Vega, D’Lo Brown, the tag team PG-13, and manager Clarence Mason. It was an odd mix of talent that really didn’t work well together. That fact eventually bled into the creative direction of this group. The group was disbanded when Farooq fired everyone except Brown.

After the mass firing, Farooq promised a more powerful nation and did not fail to deliver. The new Nation of Domination was a stacked faction that, over the years, included Farooq, Ahmed Johnson, The Rock, The Godfather, D’Lo Brown, Mark Henry, and Owen Hart. The Nation’s downfall was that it had too much talent under one roof, and they eventually all went their separate ways.
