5. Los Matadores As Bull Fighters
Los Matadores come across like a filler team from the 1980's more than anything else. Alongside their mascot, 'El Torito', Diego and Fernando are going nowhere fast. Receiving some degree of hype before their debut in 2013, the duo have simply filled up air time rather than doing anything meaningful since. The men behind the gimmick, Primo and Epico, are good in-ring performers. That fact can't be denied, they usually have watchable matches, but there's nothing beyond that for fans to become invested in. The bull-fighter gimmick is made cartoon-like by the addition of El Torito, a short man in a bull costume, and they're rarely given storylines. Going further, there isn't much to Los Matadores. The gimmick fizzled out just weeks after their debut, and they're simply a mid-level tag-team. Reverting to being simply Primo and Epico could be risky, but it could be time to drop the Matador persona. As things stand, Los Matadores are also-rans in the WWE tag league.
