It is hard to go wrong in professional wrestling when tables, ladders, and chairs are introduced into the equation. The TLC match has become a classic contest in the WWE, popularized by tag teams such as the Hardy Boyz, the Dudley Boyz, and Edge and Christian. So why is the chairs match on the list? This is mostly because the chairs have no real effect on the outcome of the match. Unlike other matches where the object must be used to end the match (such as slamming an opponent through a table in a tables match), the chairs are there to be used as weapons but could be totally discarded and it would not affect the outcome of the match. John Cena and Wade Barrett fought in a chairs match at TLC in 2010. Although the two used the chairs well and turned it into a decent contest, fans havent exactly been begging for another incarnation of the chairs match.
