10 WWE Hall Of Fame 2017 Inductions That Must Happen

1. The Headliner - The Rock

Aside from Vince McMahon and The Undertaker, The Rock is the most obvious future WWE Hall of Fame inductee around. His addition is as sure as death and taxes, and at this point, there's nothing standing in his way. Rocky is a surefire addition, and with WrestleMania hitting his home state of Florida this year, an induction might be the best way to utilise him in 2017.

The Rock's ridiculously busy filming schedule makes it unlikely that he'll be able to appear on the Mania broadcast itself, but a HOF induction would be a great use of his talents. As a wrestler, Rock notched-up no fewer than ten world title reigns to compliment his two Intercontinental Title runs, and five spells as Tag Team Champion. His prime run may have only lasted eight years (1996-2004), but The Rock is one of the most decorated wrestlers in WWE history.

His influence stretches far beyond championships and accolades, however. Other wrestlers dream of being able to captivate an audience like The Rock, and he might just be the most charismatic competitor in the sport's history. Furthermore, Rocky's transition from WWE to Hollywood has made him the movie industry's highest-paid actor, and the biggest crossover success story in wrestling history.

The Rock might not have been the greatest wrestler, but he is the greatest entertainer that the sport has ever seen. He's in a position where he never has to appear for WWE again if he doesn't want to, but he keeps coming back for one-off appearances, which proves he hasn't forgotten where he came from. Vince McMahon would love to bring him into the Hall of Fame: it's just a quesiton of timing.
