10 WWE Hall Of Fame 2017 Inductions That Must Happen
2. The Attitude Era Star - Vader
Vader's North American resume doesn't hold a candle to the deeds he accomplished in Japan, and his WWE run was particularly disappointing. Vader had good matches with guys like Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, but his portrayal left much to be desired, and he could never find the kind of momentum that saw him win the WCW World Heavyweight Championships, IWGP World Heavyweight Title, and AJPW's Triple Crown.
One of the best "big men" in wrestling history, Vader was a savage power-brawler and a real beast between the ropes. He was more than that, though: Vader was ridiculously light on his feet, and despite weighing over 400lbs, he threw one of the most fluid Moonsaults in the business. He was a legitimate real-life tough guy who felt like the most threatening force in the world, and while his WWE run wasn't the most successful, it is transcended by his reputation.
Vader is a lock to make it into the Hall of Fame sooner or later, it's time to hasten the process. Vader revealed in November that he has just two years left to life, and it'd be heartening to see WWE induct the Vader while he's still around to enjoy the honour. From his legendary rival Stan Hansen to his former manager Jim Cornette, WWE aren't exactly short of candidates to induct him either.
