Poor Rusev (Part 265).

It's sadly now reached a tipping point where fans the world over may mourn his potential exit, few could protest too loudly if the 'Bulgarian Brute' did as rumoured and buggered off to pastures new once his current contract expires.

A year ago, he gave everything he had to a spirited contest with Roman Reigns, but was left a sacrificial lamb that night as WWE reminded everybody who the real star was. Following that, he carried Jinder Mahal through the sludge of Monday Night Raw's lower card only to see him depart into the waiting arms of the WWE Title on SmackDown Live!

Following suit only saw him beaten in p*ss-easy fashion by John Cena and now twice by Randy Orton, despite making gallons of lemonade from the ageing and acidic fruits WWE gave him in the respective build-ups.

The Mayor Of Plovdiv travelled halfway around the world to join Aiden English in toasting Rusev on his own special day just a fortnight ago, but it seems increasingly likely that his September 26th 2018 celebrations will be substantially more private by comparison.

Orton's match-winning RKO was anything but #OuttaNowhere. It had sadly been coming since the feud commenced.
